Redding, in Shasta County, California is located at the northern end of the beautiful Sacramento Valley. The mighty Sacramento River flows through downtown Redding, providing recreation and scenic beauty between the surrounding majestic snow-capped mountains.

After Old Shasta was destroyed, Redding’s closer proximity to both the river and the new railroad caused it to become the new center of commerce.
